Every number should survive a partner's questions
A deck is only as good as its weakest number. Generic AI tools hallucinate market sizes and growth rates with total confidence — which makes them unusable where slides carry professional liability.
Slidechat is built around provenance: slides draw on the documents, spreadsheets, and context you provide; sources are cited in footnotes on the slide; and chart data is carried through as the numbers you gave, not rendered guesses.
How grounding works
- Your material in context: upload documents and images; their content informs the slides.
- Source footnotes: data slides carry a source line, so provenance travels with the deck — including into the PowerPoint export.
- No invented precision: estimates are framed as estimates; assumptions are flagged as assumptions.
- On the roadmap: deterministic spreadsheet analysis (your Excel parsed and computed server-side, so chart values are calculated, never guessed) and citation-grade retrieval over large document sets.
